S+S is now an ISO 14001-certified company for environmental management
S+S Regeltechnik obtained ISO 14001 certification in June 2023, thus meeting internationally recognized standards for sustainable environmental management. This certification confirms our commitment to environmental protection, the reduction of environmental impacts and the continuous improvement of our environmental processes. We are proud to contribute to building a sustainable future for generations to come.

Sustainability underpins everything we do. This is reflected in our code of conduct, our strategies for an environmentally friendly future and our manufacturing processes. We don't have a "Planet B", or an alternative society - that's why we have to take care of all our resources!

State-of-the-art building technology
In 2021, S+S moved into a new building equipped with a state-of-the-art building management system, state-of-the-art thermal insulation and exclusively LED lighting. Thanks to state-of-the-art home automation (Modbus/KNX) for air-conditioning and blind control, and a heat pump with over 99% efficiency, we are actively contributing to sustainable energy use. Thanks to these measures, we are pioneers in the operation of comparable buildings, and are 20% below the strict limit of primary energy requirements according to the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV).

Climate-friendly shipping
We consistently use DHL's climate-friendly GoGreen shipping option. With GoGreen, transport-related CO2 emissions can be subsequently offset by investments in certified external climate protection projects worldwide. This makes 100% climate-neutral shipments possible. For S+S, this means annual CO2 savings of up to 5 tonnes.

Packaging recycling
S+S relies 100% on ecological and reusable packaging materials. For example, we use only recycled shipping cartons and biodegradable filling materials. By using cornstarch chips instead of plastic chips for packaging, we reduce the amount of plastic we use by 900 kg per year. What's more, we're part of a rolling packaging system: many of our suppliers deliver their products in large, reusable crates, instead of climate-damaging individual packages.

- Fleet conversion to electric vehicles


Public charging stations at S+S
We take climate protection seriously!
To promote our company's objectives, we have installed four publicly accessible electronic charging stations on our company premises. As a result, we were able to convert the S + S-Fuhrpark completely and easily to electric vehicles.
What's more, our employees and customers can now easily and conveniently charge their company or private vehicles during working hours or when visiting our company, thus making a positive contribution to the CO2 balance in addition to saving time and costs.
